Malaysian Muslim standards are renowned worldwide as an international benchmark, serving as a guide for many other countries in this field. Salaam Suites started with the concept of Muslim Friendly, and has not deviated from its foundation to this day. In fact, we have strengthened our concept with the establishment of our hotels, and we continue to do so with new permanent additions, and even more so now, with MFAR (Muslim-Friendly Tourism and Hospitality Assurance and Recognition) certification under the guidance of ITC (Islamic Tourism Centre), JAHEAIK (Jabatan Hal Ehwal Agama Islam Kelantan) and other top authoritative bodies in the field.

Our ambition is to create a culture in the hospitality industry, where hotels design spaces that not only ensure confidence among Muslim travelers, but also educate non-Muslims about the beauty of our religion, to bridge the gap and ultimately create a holistic environment of respect and kindness, so that others in the industry can follow suit.

The Muslim-friendly hospitality industry is growing worldwide, with almost every developed country having its own national standards. Our dream is to expand our concept domestically, state by state, with the hope that one day we can expand beyond the borders of Malaysia, to bring our knowledge and experience to the hospitality industry in other countries, so that we can grow spiritually, and so that other countries can grow as well.
