Pantai Nusuk

Pantai Nusuk, which lives up to its “nusuk” (hidden) name, has now been developed into a spot for swimming, picnicking, kite-flying, swinging, and local food stalls. Fun fact: the RM2 parking charge is said to go only to the operators for cleaning and maintaining Pantai Nusuk.

A new hangout in Kota Bharu for visitors who like trying new food while relaxing with friends and family. Pasar Terapung Pulau Suri (Floating Market)
As the name suggests, it is a floating market, so visitors can take a boat from the Kuala Besar jetty or the Kok Majid jetty. This market, located in the Tumpat district, only operates on Saturdays. There is not only food but also activities such as batik colouring and sewing nipah-palm roofing, so visitors can experience these interesting activities themselves.

Pasar Terapung Pengkalan Datu (Floating Market)
Famous for selling local Kelantanese food as well as fresh seafood catches at this floating market. Operating on Saturdays from 8am, it also has a river cruise service, silat (martial arts) performances, and visitors can stay at riverside accommodation at Pengkalan Datu.

Pantai Mek Mas
Known as a sandy-desert beach. Perfect for swimming, photos, and also testing your physical fitness by climbing the sand dunes at Pantai Mek Mas, just like in Arabia! Only the camels are missing 😂

Known for its floating restaurant, Selera D Air K’Kochok Pulau Tengah, a river cruise using a traditional carved wooden boat called a Bot Kolek, and a 350m floating jetty. Samurai Yakiniku

Pantai Nami, Korea (Pantai Senok & Pantai Kundur)
Both of these beaches are lined with densely growing pine trees that make the entire shoreline resemble “Nami Island” in South Korea. The rows of trees also create a shady effect, perfect for picnicking, relaxing, or photography sessions. Visitors can choose whether to go to Pantai Senok or Pantai Kundur as they prefer, since both are in Kota Bharu.
