Shiro Yuki Kota Bharu
Shiro Yuki in Kota Bharu is the new buzz, a dessert cafe loved by locals and tourists alike. On a very hot afternoon, visiting this cafe will be one of the best choices you can make, because you can beat the heat with their cold desserts. Their honey dew shaved ice is not only delicious. It also comes with an impressive smoky display. The dry ice at the bottom releases a white gas that looks very Instagrammable. It also comes with a small container of syrup that will surely satisfy your sweet tooth. Be careful though, if you do not like sweet things, do not pour it on!
Their kakigori is amazing. It is one of the highlights of this dessert spot.
You can also find other desserts such as waffles. Their waffles also look neat and are perfect for adding to your album!
Their signature waffle comes in the shape of a flower with ice cream in the middle. There are also fruits such as blueberries, banana slices and strawberries around it. That perhaps makes it a little less sinful.
Their Shibuya toast is also impressive. A large, thick block of bread holds a beautiful scoop of ice cream on top. Beside it is another scoop of ice cream, because we all know we always need an extra spoonful.
There are also other types, such as the chocolate strawberry version. Chocolate syrup is generously poured over the toast, then topped with chopped strawberries and a scoop of ice cream.
The waffles, toast and pudding are a must-try. Their honey smores chocolate toast is a favourite of many. Their cheddar cheese toast is another well-loved dessert.
Whenever we go out to look for food, we are always on the hunt for something out of the ordinary to quench our thirst for a flavour adventure. They serve perhaps one of the strangest ways to eat popcorn. That is right! They serve it with their ice cream sundae! Like a Christmas tree, the cone is decorated with popcorn.
Their custard pudding also steals the show. It is simple but delicious. The wobbly softness is truly amazing. It surely pairs well with a glass of warm tea.
They serve freshly imported tea from Australia, served in a teapot and cups. Among their tea choices are mango sencha, refreshing watermelon, lemongrass and ginger, French earl tea and snooze goodnight. A wide range of options for everyone.

If you think this is only about desserts, think again! Their other food is also great! They have popcorn chicken served with a plate of mustard greens and chilli sauce. It is delightful in every bite.
Their drinks are not too shabby either. They have bubble tea, latte, apple juice, two layered creamy drinks and much more! Try them all.
The Atmosphere of Shiro Yuki Kota Bharu
Just as you would expect from a modern cafe. Shiro Yuki Kota Bharu offers a relaxed and contemporary interior design. Its wooden floor is lovely and blends with the overall accents of the place. There are wall light features all around. They are basically circles with light. Simple but neat.
They also have nice round chairs that make you feel happy about them. An iconic LED-lit dinosaur character at the cafe also decorates the wall. Meanwhile, two faux green pots serve as seating accessories. Be sure to hang out there and take a good Instagrammable photo!
On one side of the seating area, there is an LED sign that says “hello”, which is indeed a great backdrop for striking a pose!
